An Everyday Summer Holiday
I've had this beautiful She and Reverie skirt on display in my room for awhile now, waiting for the perfect day to debut it, as it requires a sunny day, preferably with an ice cream cone in hand. This past weekend we were treated to just that, and my Sunday was spent catching up over brunch, wandering through new neighbourhoods in search of the perfect coloured wall, indulging in ice cream cones and grocery shopping in Kensington Market. In other words, the perfect Sunday.
It must have only started last summer, but my closet has quickly become dotted with midi skirts, my current silhouette of choice. They're both feminine and functional, easily dressed up or down and perfect paired with cropped styles (or a favourite, worn in tee), which covers a few of my main criteria when putting together an outfit.
The Summer Holiday Skirt, which is so aptly named, is printed with the prettiest array of holiday-esque photos that instantly transport you to a romantic setting. I always love pieces that tell a story, and the skirt does just that, reminiscent of faded Polaroids and secret rendezvous.
