Desert Dreaming

I've been dreaming of styling a desert shoot for over a year now, initially hoping I'd be able to tie it in to one of our Bicyclette buying trips to LA for a lookbook shoot. Unfortunately that didn't happen, so I've continued to collect inspiration and visualize the details, waiting for the right opportunity to bring the concept to life. I'm thinking this might be the year it needs to happen.

Toronto's currently in the middle of an "extreme cold warning", which of course has me daydreaming about getaways to far off destinations and feeling the warmth of the sun on bare skin, so it seemed appropriate to pull together some of my favourite desert images and live vicariously through them. A girl can dream, right?
