Do You Remember Dress // Tropical Florals

I have a thing for florals - tropical florals, ditsy florals, watercolour florals, vintage florals - you name it, it's probably in my closet, and on the racks at Bicyclette. That being said, not every floral is a good floral, and there are many times on buying trips where it comes down to the print and many just don't make the cut. And then there are the prints that catch our eye right away and are quickly added to the must have list.

Keepsake, Finders Keepers and Cameo, a trio of Australian brands that have brought us some of our favourite pieces over the past year and a half, know how to do a print right, and their custom florals are always vibrant and eye-catching. Last week Alyssa featured the Keepsake Raider Dress for her Take Me Out post, and because this stunning floral print is also available in another dress silhouette, we figured we'd take the opportunity to showcase the Do You Remember Dress as well. A more casual, tee-style dress, this dress is a simple and versatile piece with the bold tropical floral adorning the front and structured turned up raglan sleeves that add that little extra detailing we always love in our pieces. It can take the place of that little black dress, and the colour palette is just the perfect mix of brights and pastels with a hand drawn, detailed effect from the tropical print. A little bit feminine with an edge - always our ideal combination.

I've been wearing this dress non-stop since we received it - with black booties and a cargo jacket (my go-to layering additions) for running around during the day, or with sparkly iridescent statement earrings and bright pink lips for a more glam outing. I also love the addition of leopard print accessories, because really - who doesn't love a good print mixing opportunity, and this dress is the perfect option with which to do just that.
