Four Ways to Style a Sweatshirt
There's nothing like a cozy sweatshirt on those days where the temperature dips well below freezing, and since that has been our norm in Toronto as of late, these Woke Up In Paradise sweatshirts from Maison Scotch have been on heavy rotation. Not only are the colourways spot on - ballerina pink contrasted with black velvet lettering, or heather grey accented by bright red stitched lettering - they're also the perfect fit, with a silhouette that's more on the fitted side. Don't get me wrong, I love oversized, slouchy sweatshirts when I'm in the comfort of my own home, but if I'm going to be wearing a sweatshirt out in the "real world" I want it to be a little more tailored.
I've been all about setting little styling challenges for myself recently, focused on rediscovering items in my own closet that I may have forgotten about and styling pieces in new ways. So when I set out to style this sweatshirt four different ways, that was my intention, to dig deep and see how creative I could get with one piece, using items I already own and keeping in mind that I wanted to dress it up a little.
And the good news? We just got this sweatshirt in at the shop, and since we're on crazy sale right now, it'll be marked down at the end of the week, even though it's brand new.Spell Designs Flannel Shirt // Blank NYC Denim (Bicyclette Boutique) // Statement Earrings (Bicyclette Boutique)
