In Faded Glory
I think I can safely say that Sunday's are my favourite day. There's something about them that is more relaxed than Saturday, with no pressure to really do anything, and yet Toronto always seems to have so much to offer, with a variety of tempting options with which to spend your time. It's the one day I try to step away from the computer completely and leave the work behind, so it's always fun to plan out the day and see where it leads. And you know what they say, "a Sunday well spent brings a week of content".
Though I tend to wear tees regardless of what day of the week it is (they're probably the item I own the most of, and one of my favourite items to style, enjoying the challenge to dress them up when the situation calls for it), on Sunday's it's especially likely that you'll find me in one of my favourite tees, most likely Wildfox or Spell Designs. This past weekend was no different. I've been wanting to wear the She and Reverie 'Venice Cardigan' that Quinne sent me since I received it, and it complemented the vintage-inspired Spell tee I chose, with the icy blue picking up the colours in the western print. I love playing with pastel palettes in the winter, and with it's pastel seashell blue, this piece is the perfect item to do so with. Inspired by vintage letterman jackets, it's crafted in the softest silk jersey that feels like a "ocean waves over your skin", and the pearl buttons give it a feminine touch that I love. Some worn-in DIY distressed denim and a vintage fur stole completed the look.
