Love Notes // Vol. 17

// These backstage photos from the Reem Acra fall bridal collection a few years ago resurface every now and then and always leave me dreaming up how I can incorporate more florals and fairy lights into my world. The soft, glowing light, the delicate pairing with layers of lace and tulle... so dreamy. There's always something so magical about behind the scenes photos, giving a peek into a world that we don't usually have access to, and this collection tells such a beautiful story.

// I've always had a love affair with tiny, delicate stacking rings, and though I haven't added any new styles to my collection recently, if I had a choice, it would be this lovely little Wwake ring.

// Though not necessarily the style I'll be opting for when it comes to picking out wedding shoes, these embellished beauties definitely caught my eye, with the intricate gold detail and encrusted pearls. They've got a little bit of Marie Antoinette extravagance, and I love the idea of these paired with a midi-length wedding dress, or a style that's a little unconventional. And don't even get me started on that dove grey suede.

// With the infusion of heart-shaped everything and a noticeable colour palette of pink and red popping up everywhere, it's hard to deny that Valentine's Day is less than a week away. And though this year I've found myself focused less on my own projects and more on client content for the holiday, any event that ends up leaving heart-shaped balloons in the studio is fine by me.

// I've been toying with the idea of adding a little colour into my hair again, so of course I turned to the princess of pastel hair, Alyssa, for a little inspiration. Loving this mix of faded peach and pink, which reminds me of the prettiest sunset.

// Though my beauty routine generally tends towards the minimalistic, it's rare for my nails not to be painted. It's one of those little things that makes me feel put together and "done", and the way I see it, they're the perfect accessory, often adding in a touch of colour (usually pink, surprise surprise!). I usually go for a solid colour, but I'm thinking this simple, minimalistic speckled pattern might have to be next on my list.
