MONDAY MUSE . SUMMER'S END

As much as we're savouring this last month of summer and still enjoying the chance to wear little dresses and our denim shorts, there's always an excitement that comes with the prospect of early fall and the opportunity to toss on light layers as we enjoy the summer's end. We're beginning to receive our fall collections in the shop, and with that comes the welcome challenge of incorporating new, warmer pieces into our wardrobes and transitioning into a new season. Whether it's throwing on a light sweater when you feel a chill in the evening air, or layering summer prints with darker palettes, in a lot of ways these days can be the most fun to dress for, with lots of options and layering ideas. We decided we'd start to ease into this new mindset by pulling a little style inspiration. This collection of images proves that you don't have to pack away your favourite kimono or summer florals just yet, and considering how important these two items are in our closets, we couldn't be happier about that fact.

We've never been one to stick by fashion "rules", and believe that white can be worn all year around, especially with light layers and mixed with darker colours and textures.
