OSHEAGA FESTIVAL STYLE . TAKE THREE: LACE
We started with Floral, then Kimono and now that Osheaga is officially upon us and we are down to our third and final festival trend, Lace. A few weeks ago we posted some festival style inspiration, and our Summer Lovin’ and Style Muse boards on Pinterest are full of looks that have us excited to start styling our own looks from the shop.
Every summer we begin with a new love affair with white lace. There’s something so dreamy and magical about the fabric, and there’s no denying its fairy tale quality. Feminine and whimsical, there are so many different styles and ways to wear lace, whether it’s a flowing maxi dress, trimmed shorts, or the perfect blouse. We find white lace extremely easy to style because of it's compatibility with other fabrics. We love mixing lace with contrasting pieces such as ripped denim, black silk and chunky knits for a unique look.
[FOR LOVE & LEMONS Isabella Dress (available online soon)]
We love this For Love & Lemons dress and think it's a great go to festival piece. With it's sheer top we thought it would be great to pair with a black ban do for some contrast. Features a stunning lace and bell sleeves for a touch of vintage and bohemian flare. Pair with converse sneakers and a fringe bag to dress it down for a daytime look.
[Soda Pop Knit // LADAKH Lace Love Skirt]
We are big fans of both lace and neon so this is our dream summer skirt! Elastic band and neon green overlay. Lined. Pair with a simple rock tee and statement necklace for a cool and fun look.
