Rock N Roll Tea Photo Shoot

It all started with a bit of a girl crush. I'd see Shelley (aka Lady Hayes) in the shop from time to time and we'd talk about our mutual love for Spell Designs and the perfect vintage tee, and as I (not so) secretly stalked her online, I watched her floral crown business flourish. When I reached out to her late last year, I didn't have much of an agenda or a particular project in mind. All I knew was that she was one talented, badass woman, and I really wanted to work with her. A few coffee dates, countless emails and various location scouting visits later, the concept for our Rock n' Roll Tea shoot was born, the inspiration was pulled, and the details started to come together.

The beauty of a more casual shoot like this is being able to let go of any expectations, enjoying the experience and letting the magic happen. We brought together a dream team of talented women and the whole day was incredibly fun, with us crafting and styling the set as we went, and pulling together outfits on the fly. Flowers were obviously a consistent theme throughout the shoot, and Shelley made an epic floral crown as well as a truly one-of-a-kind headdress, complete with feathers, flowers and sparkle. Combat boots were given the floral treatment as well, with flowers being woven through the laces providing that perfect pretty-with-an-edge look that was consistent throughout the shoot.

And so, though we've shared some behind the scenes along the way and have been teasing you with details and sneak peeks for awhile now, I'm excited to finally release the full photo shoot. Enjoy!
