Summer Vacation

Just a little note that the blog will be a quieter than usual this week as I've escaped to the cottage for a little getaway, spending my days reading by the lake, taking some time to refocus and work on some creative projects that always seem to fall to the wayside in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sometimes you just need to get away from it all.

That being said, word on the street - or maybe in this situation, on the lake? - is that the mermaid shoot Alyssa and I collaborated on will be up this week, as well as an exciting announcement. The internet connection has been a little less than reliable, however, so there's always the chance that it'll have to wait until we're fully back to "reality". You know, #cottageproblems.
