Every season we make a list of our must-have styles, and this fall we can't get enough of the statement sweatshirt. Traditionally more of a stay-at-home, lazy weekend style, the sweatshirt has seen a bit of a rebirth recently, appearing on high fashion runways (remember the Kenzo Fall '12 tiger sweatshirt that seemed to start it all?) , and our favourite street style stars. Now the newly inspired style is everywhere.

No longer limited to heather grey hoodies or oversized pullovers , we're seeing creative prints, feminine embellishment and embroidery, delicate cutouts, leather panelling and unexpected fabrications that take this staple far beyond the gym. With no shortage of details and luxurious renditions of the old favourite, we're loving the juxtaposition of the typically casual piece into more of a fashion item. The styling options are endless, and the beauty of it is that at the core, it's still a sweatshirt - which means it's ridiculously comfortable.

So of course we wanted to join in on the fun, showcasing a few styles that we currently have in store and online, and how we would wear them.
