A Subtle Nod to Fall // Style Inspiration

With a delivery full of new arrivals expected at the end of the week, we're looking forward to the prospect of styling some new pieces for all of our end-of-summer style needs. Though we're determined to enjoy every last day of summer and continue to check off our warm weather to-do lists, there's always an excitement about the slow fading out of one season to the next, especially when it means beginning to build a new wardrobe and introduce light layers and subtle textures into our closets. Instead of stocking our racks with heavy knits and darker colour palettes right away though, we've decided to take a slightly different approach, starting with more subtle nods to the fall season in the form of darker floral prints, flowing kimonos, darker pastels and neutrals that pair oh-so-perfectly with heavier greys and black, and luxe laces that are ideal for layering and peeking through. And of course you can't forget the accessories. Felt hats that make for the perfect finishing touch to an outfit, sparkly statement necklaces that offset more subdued pieces, and suede fringe purses that add just the right amount of bohemian flair. And so with that, we've started gathering ideas and pulling our own fall style inspiration.
