Off to La La Land

We are happily escaping winter for a couple of days and heading south to one of our favourite place in the world, Los Angeles. We are only there for 2 and a half days so it will be another fun whirlwind tour full of lots of buying for the store, location scouting for an upcoming secret project and checking off a few things on our 'LA to do' list!

We usually stay in Silver Lake or Echo Park but this time we decided to stay closer to the water, renting an adorable apartment in Venice Beach. Nothing like finishing a long day, taking a stroll along the beach watching the sun go down. We are excited to hit all of our old favourite places like Intelligentsia and Shareen Vintage but also discover some new gems by heading out to a few different restaurants and shops.

We are looking forward to ditching the winter coat and packing a few sunny inspired outfits with us for the week! It's always fun to peruse Pinterest for outfit ideas before leaving for a trip to get inspired as we pack our ensembles. The best part is also getting inspired to pick out our favourite spring pieces to buy and bring back to the shop. We are way too ready to see some pretty dresses, light jackets, printed blouses and flouncy skirts.

We can't wait to get back and start transforming the store into a spring oasis and restocking all the racks with our great finds. We will be keeping a photo diary of our trip to share with you all so keep your eye out on the blog for that. We will also be posting on Instragram while we are there so follow along and you'll get a sneak peek into what we will be bringing back with us.
