Why not check out Tappo or Archeo for a meal, or grab coffee at balzacs and pastries at The Sweet Escape Pâtisserie.
What to wear // With this evening you can go two ways: casual or elegant. If you just going for coffee, we suggest grabbing our Free People Flying V Hacci Sweater with some boyfriend jeans, low boots and a bright pink toque. For something a little dressier, why not get all dolled up in our 860 Shots to the Heart dress, tights, a cute belt and some pink lips!
For the One Who Doesn’t Want to Go Out on Actual Valentine's Day // You hate going out for V-day, so why not go out the day after? and whats cuter than taking a cupcake decorating Valentine's Day class at Le Dolci! You can do this with a friend, a mom or even a date. Its a great chill environment to get to know a date, catch up with a friend or make memories. No pressure because everything is planned for you!

For the Girl on a Budget // Looking for something cute and impressive to do but have no money to make it happen? Why not take your date skating at the Habourfront. All you need are skates and a little money if you want to buy some hot drinks. If you can’t make it on the 14th check it out on the 15th for DJ and skate, its free and you get to have a live DJ music, your date will be even more impressed!

For a Girls Night Out // What screams girls night out more than having a drink or 2 (or 5) and belting out sad ballads or cheesy oldies. Join in the fun at Monarch Tavern for the Worn Fashion Journal Karaoke Event. The event proceeds go to support Worn fashion Journal and help them get new lighting equipment. The rules? $7 admission, or $5 if you wear red or pink, $1 per son, $10 to cut the line, and $5 to sing Celine Dion. Oh and one more thing, its mandatory to come with your heart on your sleeve.

For the Partier or the Anti-Valentine // Our amazing city has so many different options for people who want to just go out and have a great time. One that stuck out for us the Promise Heart Party located in a massive abandoned century warehouse complete with DJs, art installations and food. Another party that seemed particularly good and not just for people with valentines is the Damaged Goods Valentine's party at Parts and Labour: music, $5 cover and a Valentine's event for the people who aren't particularly excited for the day of love.
What to wear // Why not dress a little edgier with our Free People Vegan Leather Jacket over our Whitney Eve Print Shift Dress with a metallic belt.
