Love Notes // Vol. 20
// Though my personal style has drifted further away from the overly bohemian these days, the Spell Designs lookbooks never fail to disappoint, and their newest release, Wildflower, is no exception. Ditsy florals prints, sheer fabrics, perfect white laces and a vintage style t-shirt I'm seriously coveting all lend themselves to the magical Bali landscape, and once again I find myself dreaming of a tropical getaway.
// On the other side of the style spectrum, I'd consider these strappy mules to be a summer staple, as I've been finding myself drawn towards shades of peach recently, and can picture these paired with a little lace dress for a summer soirée, or paired with more casual denim and a lightweight knit or perfectly worn-in tee as the evenings start to cool off. I'm sure that'll happen eventually, right?
// Neon signs still get me every time, and though I chose to part with the one I had up in the shop, we've been considering integrating one into our wedding decor in some way and having it be a piece we then keep as a memento of sorts. I kind of love the cheekiness of this one, and of course the pink neon juxtaposed with the oversized cacti, bright white decor and hints of gold makes it a sure bet for my wishlist and decor inspiration board.
// I'll be very surprised if you haven't already seen these cute cups or the amazing decor from Alfred Coffee popping up in your Instagram or Pinterest feeds (hello, social media gold). The local coffee franchise actually trademarked the popular 'But first, coffee!' phrase apparently, and between the fun cups and this amazing floral wallpaper, you can bet it's on my must-visit list for my next LA trip. Sooner rather than later, I hope! Also, I think I may need some floral wallpaper in my life.
// Jenny from Margo and Me has long been at the top of my style muse list, and so it's no surprise that her wedding photos had the same effect. That classic 60s beauty will never get old, and as always, she has me seriously reconsidering bangs.
// Something else I can't see leaving my inspiration boards any time soon: all things iridescent. Shiny, pastel, sparkly, rainbow... pretty much just pure magic, and I'm still craving the finish in any way I can get it.
