OLIVIA WILDE . MONDAY MUSE

This week, we add Olivia Wilde to our list of fashionable favourites for our Monday Muse. We loved The OC, still naming it off as one of our favourite guilty pleasures and the perfect series to draw style inspiration from. Everything about the show was amazing, from the California inspired clothing to the beautiful beach settings and all the drama that would unfold week after week. And who couldn't forget the feisty Alex, Marisa's quick love interest played by the stunning Olivia Wilde.

After the success of the show she soon became an A-lister, able to shed her pretty-girl stereotype and play riveting and intelligent characters in 'House,' 'The Words,' and currently in 'Rush' premiering at this years TIFF.  She is always taking fashion risks while remaining elegant, classic and cool. Her looks are constantly evolving from sexy/short dresses to sophisticated cocktail dresses to jeans and a t-shirt, and she manages to pull off every look with the edgy and stylish confidence that we've come to associate with her. She's one of those girls that can rock the simple look like in her film 'Drinking Buddies' where she looks  beautiful wearing her hair in a bun and rocking skinny jeans and converse sneakers. Her roles are diverse, never shying away from a challenge.

She is currently being spotted in Toronto rocking some amazing trends like the geometric print, cobalt blue, empire waist dress she wore to the Artists for Peace TIFF lunch, and the gorgeous black body-con Roland Mouret dress she wore to the premier of her film 'Rush.' Her style is classic with a twist, something we love here at Bicyclette, and we could totally see her striking a pose in our KEEPSAKE Hey You Dress or the CAMEO Say It Right Dress, both styles are perfect for those red carpet moments when it's essential to stand out from the crowd. Olivia always impresses on the red carpet which is why she is this week's TIFF Monday Muse!
