Current inspirations, musings and wanderings, a peek behind the curtains of Slow Dance Studio (and life, because it’s all kind of intertwined at this point). We’ll share some peeks at what we’re working on, what we’re loving and who we’re crushing on (but not like, in a creepy way). There will definitely be some teaching moments, a look at our creative process (yes, the messy side too), and some real talk around what running a creative business really looks like. Sometimes it’ll get a bit personal, and other times, you’ll walk away inspired, or maybe with a new skill or way of looking at things.
On our final day in The Bahamas, we opted to hop on a ferry and visit one of the other islands, Harbour Island, which promised miles of pink sand beaches and charming tropical flair in the tiny island town. We packed a picnic (complete with a bottle of wine for the ferry ride back, of course) and rented bikes to cruise around the tiny island, and it was easily one of the highlights from the trip.
Read More01 // Colourful cacti and little gold planters. I have a number of these little guys throughout the apartment and studio already, and I love how they add a little bit of life and colour into any space. Though the cacti themselves can be pretty easy to find, I always have a hard time finding planters that I love. I like the minimalist, antiqued look of this gold planter, though I'm thinking I might replicate the look with an old planter I already own and a coat of spray paint.
